The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) is one of the five Central Armed Police Forces of India, raised on 24 October 1962, under the CRPF Act, in the wake of the Sino-Indian War of 1962. The ITBP was intended for deployment along the India’s border with the Tibet Autonomous Region. Name of the Posts:

• Chief Veterinary Officer – 06 Posts
• Sr. Veterinary Officer – 08 Posts

Educational Qualification: The Candidate should be passed Bachelor degree in Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry or equivalent

Age Limit: The candidate age not be exceeding 56 year. Upper age limit for SC/ST/PWD applicable as per Govt. guidelines

Pay Scale:

• Chief Veterinary Officer – The Pay Scale of  Rs. 15,600-39,100/- with Grade pay Rs. 7,600/-
• Sr. Veterinary Officer – The Pay Scale of  Rs. 15,600-39,100/- with Grade pay Rs. 6,600/-

Important Dates:

• Date of issued Notification: 18-MARCH-2015
• Last date for Submission of application: 60 days of Publication of advertisement
