IAF Recruitment Details
Name of Post: Group- X (Technical) Trades
Qualification: HSC or equivalent examination in Mathematics, Physics and English with 50% marks/ Diploma in Engineering.
Pay Scale: Rs. 24900/-
Name of Post: Group- Y {For Automobile Technician, Ground Training Instructor and Indian Air Force (Police)} Trades
Qualification: HSC or equivalent examination with 50% marks
Pay Scale: Rs. 20500/-
Age Limit: 21 years
Selection Process: The Selection process will be made on the basis of Written examination, Physical test, Medical test & Interview.
Medical Standard:
- Height: Minimum height required is 152.5 cm.
- Chest: Minimum range of expansion: 5 cm.
- Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
- Corneal Surgery (PRK/LASIK) not acceptable.
- Hearing: Candidate should have normal hearing.
- Dental: Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points.
- Health: Candidates should be of normal anatomy without loss of any appendages.
